Chandler Riggs, the young star of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” has been accepted at Auburn University, according to Amber Sutton of al.com
Riggs, the 17-year-old actor who plays Carl Grimes, son of “The Walking Dead” protagonist Rick Grimes, announced that acceptance Sunday night through his Twitter account, wrote Sutton.
Sutton speculates that since Auburn is close to Georgia, where the series is filmed, it is expected that Riggs can continue on the series while at Auburn.
