“Longmire” star Robert Taylor, Luke Grimes of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” movies, Marguerite Moreau, of “The Mighty Ducks” series and Frank Grillo from the “Captain America” franchise are currently filming “Into the Ashes” in Alabama.
The crime thriller has been shooting scenes in the Bessemer, Fairfield, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham area.
The film is about an ex-con (Grimes) fighting to start a new life in rural Alabama, even though some, including Grillo’s character, will not let him forget his past, according to Deadline Hollywood. Taylor plays the ex-con’s father-in-law.
Aaron Harvey, whose most recent thriller was “The Neighbor,” has written and is directing the film.
